Nookyard is a curated daytime club for founders, freelancers, builders, and creatives, set inside Mélange on Strada Oltarului. Not a coworking space, a third place where the people in the room are the point.
The idea
Two words, held in tension.
A nook is your intimate corner, the quiet spot where you put your head down and do the work. A yard is the shared commons, the open ground where you meet the people you wouldn’t have met otherwise. Nookyard holds both at once, a room that is private enough to focus in, and social enough to belong to.

The place
Inside Mélange, in the Armenian Quarter.
We sit inside Mélange, in a quiet, characterful corner of Bucharest’s Armenian Quarter, away from the noise of the centre. The feeling is the one you get in the best daytime clubs, the calm of a Switchyards, the warmth of a NeueHouse, the ease of a Spring Place, rebuilt at neighbourhood scale for the people who build here.
Founding cohort
15 seats, locked for life.
The club opens with a small founding cohort and a limited number of seats. Founding members lock a discounted rate for life, in exchange for getting in first and shaping the room. Only the first 15 members carry the founding rate, after that standard pricing applies.
