Everyone needs a third place.
The phrase comes from sociology, but the feeling is older than the word: a place that isn’t home and isn’t work, where you’re known, where you turn up because you want to. For generations that was the café, the pub, the barbershop. Nookyard is that, rebuilt for people who build.
The first place, home
Where you rest and switch off. Necessary, but not where the work or the people happen.
The second place, work
The office or the job. Productive, but rented, and rarely yours to shape.
The third place, here
The room in your neighbourhood you actually want to land in. Familiar faces, no clock to punch, a crowd worth knowing.

The best rooms aren’t filled with the same kind of person. We’re building one on purpose, Romanians and internationals, different fields, different countries, different ways of seeing a problem. People who moved here, people passing through, people who grew up down the street. You learn faster next to someone who doesn’t think like you. We grow together, or not at all.

Every member is here by application, and the room is capped, so the same faces come back and names stick.

The free Nookyard Community is the way in: Nookyard Sessions and Community events, with no workspace and no subscription. Club members are part of it too — every Community session is open to them.
